Deduplicated list

0 unique0 duplicates removed0 blank lines

Paste a list above to see repeated lines removed. Your data stays in this browser tab.

Deduplication compares normalized values, not the original text. Trimming, case handling, and whitespace rules change which lines count as the same item — review the repeated entries before replacing a source list.

Clean one list before an import or merge

Paste one item per line and the tool keeps a single copy of each value. This is the quickest way to clean a subscriber export, keyword research dump, SKU column, ID list, or attendance roster before it reaches a CRM, campaign, or spreadsheet. Unlike a two-list comparison, this page has one input: the output is the deduplicated list itself.

Choose matching rules that fit the data

Trimming outer spaces fixes copied spreadsheet cells. Ignoring case helps with email addresses and labels, where [email protected] and [email protected] usually represent the same contact. Collapsing repeated spaces helps with names and pasted text. Ignore leading zeroes only when the source system treats 001 and 1 as the same identifier; for SKUs, account numbers, and record IDs, zeroes can be meaningful.

Review repeated entries before replacing the source

The duplicate audit shows which normalized values occurred more than once and how often. That distinction matters: a repeated email may be a duplicate form submission, while a repeated SKU may be two legitimate variants. Keep the original export untouched, review the audit, and copy or download the cleaned list only after the matching rules look right.

Dedupe lists copied from spreadsheets and exports

Copy a column from Excel, Google Sheets, or a database export, or upload a TXT or CSV file. The list never leaves the browser tab. The result can be copied as plain text or downloaded as TXT or CSV, and the optional sort makes the cleaned list easier to scan before the next step.

Keep the work private

This tool runs in the browser tab you are using. No account is required and your text is not submitted to a server. The result exists only on this device, so copy or download it before closing the page.

Frequently asked questions

Does dedupe keep the original order?

Yes, by default the first occurrence of each value stays in its original position. You can keep the last occurrence instead, or sort the deduplicated result A–Z, Z–A, or by length.

Can I ignore case and extra spaces?

Yes. Trimming, case-insensitive matching, whitespace collapsing, and leading-zero handling are separate controls, so you can match the rules used by the system that owns the data.

Can I dedupe email addresses, keywords, or SKUs?

Yes. Email addresses usually benefit from case-insensitive matching; SKUs and IDs often require exact matching. Review the duplicate audit before replacing a source list.

How is this different from comparing two lists?

This page removes repeats from one list. The two-list comparison page shows what is shared, missing, or unique to each source, which is the better question when you are reconciling two exports.

Is my list uploaded to a server?

No. Parsing, normalization, deduplication, and export all run in the browser tab. No account is required, and the list is not sent to Comparable List.
