Use line and word diff modes to review revisions without uploading the source documents.

A useful list comparison starts with a clear decision, not an upload. This workflow keeps the comparison in your browser and makes the matching rules visible, so the resulting exception list can be reviewed rather than blindly acted upon.
Decide whether position and order matter. A text diff is the right tool for revisions; a list comparison is the right tool when you only need to know which values overlap.
Paste the original text in A and the revision in B, or upload plain-text copies. Keep the source files unchanged so a reviewer can open them beside the diff.
Ignore case or whitespace only when formatting is not part of the question. Read a sample of the unchanged blocks as well as the highlighted changes before trusting a zero-difference result.
Read each removal and addition in context. Confirm that unchanged blocks are really the same and export a copy of the diff when someone else needs to approve the revision.

The tool runs locally in your browser. Review the result before you act on it, especially when a list contains customer, account, or operational data.
