Validate record migrations
Use this workflow to compare identifiers from source and destination exports after a migration, import, or batch job. The exclusive lists become a small set of records to investigate rather than a long sheet to scan manually.
Decide whether zeroes matter
The ID preset treats numeric zero-padding as formatting, which suits many exports. Disable it for identifiers where 001 and 1 are distinct records. The recommendation is visible and reversible, so the comparison never silently changes your source data.
Keep the comparison private
Comparable List processes the lists in the browser tab you are using. No account is required and the items are not submitted to a comparison server. Review any export before sharing it, especially when it contains customer, account, or operational information.
Frequently asked questions
Can I compare numeric IDs with zeroes?
Yes. The ID preset ignores leading zeroes, and you can turn that behavior off at any time.
